December 7 Announcements
Posted by: Lisa Coffman Published: 12/7/17
As a tradition for the choral program, we host a madrigal dinner every year. This dinner is set in the Renaissance Era, where we dress in period costumes, speak with British accents and sing music that is authentic to the time period. My students will serve you a three-course meal and delight you with a play filled with comedy. My students have made Christmas wreathes that will be available as a  silent auction and don't forget to bring your spare change to buy items from the townspeople.  We will also close the evening with a short concert for your holiday enjoyment. The students and I would love if you could be in attendance. The show will run Thursday, December 7th and Friday, December 8th at 7:00pm, with a performance on  Saturday, December 9th at 4:00pm. It will take place at The Presbyterian Church, on South Point Rd., by Kohl's. I recommend you to arrive by 6:30pm or 3:30pm depending on the night you wish to attend. Please contact Jessie Patterson to purchase tickets or for more information.
Seniors, please stop by the guidance office and check  your names for diplomas.  This information will be sent off in December.
Renaissance is having its annual fro-yo social Dec. 13 after school in the Nix cafeteria. Wear last year's Renaissance shirt for a free treat!

The library will again be hosting a Cocoa and Cram study night before finals.  The library will be open until 7:00 on Monday, December 18 for students to study or work on projects.  There will be cocoa and snacks and a quiet atmosphere to study for finals.  Please plan to attend! Everyone is welcome.

Renaissance is holding a Fro-Yo Social Wednesday, December 13, from 2:30-3:30 in the Nix Cafeteria. We are offering free Orange Leaf to any Renaissance student who comes wearing last year's Renaissance shirt. We hope to see you there!

The Academic Booster Club will be hosting a Trivia Night on Saturday, January 13 at WMS.  The Booster Club supports activities on the WHS campus.  Please consider putting a team together.  You can register in the guidance office with Mrs. Coffman.

Any junior interested in running for student representative to the board of education please see Mr. Dierks before Friday December 15, 2017.
